20th ANNUAL PREVENT BLINDNESS MIXED DOUBLES TENNIS CLASSIC

Now entering its second decade, the Prevent Blindness North Carolina Mixed Doubles Tennis Classic is the most well-received amateur tennis tournament in the Triangle. This year, on August 4-7, players and fans from area tennis clubs will participate in a weekend of great mixed doubles tennis in support of the mission of Prevent Blindness North Carolina - to prevent blindness, preserve and restore sight, and promote good vision for all North Carolinians. The event is hosted by MacGregor Downs Country Club; located at 430 Saint Andrews Lane in Cary.

This year's honoree is Bobby Heald. Bobby is the tennis pro at MacGregor Downs Country Club, a longtime friend and advocate of Prevent Blindness North Carolina, and an influential member of the Triangle tennis community. Thursday night's kickoff Patron Party will feature dinner, an exhibition match, and a raffle full of fabulous prizes. All proceeds from this four-day event will be used to benefit the programs and services of Prevent Blindness North Carolina.
